Board members
present:
Carmen Hagloch, President; Joann Allin; David Andrew; Donna Ashley; Michael Bianco; Steve Camara; Judy Fadrowsky; Marilyn Haine; Fay Jones; Lisa Iwata; Sandra Kingery; Shirley Kollmeyer; Helen MacNeil; John Michalski; Michelle Schneider; Janice Wright.
Board members
absent or excused: Roger Liu; Nate Sparks.
Call to Order:
- President C. Hagloch called the meeting to order at 8:00pm and introduced the guest speaker, Noelle Kahanu, and guest visitor, Glenn Mason.
Guest Speaker:
- Noelle Kahanu spoke regarding the restoration of Hawaiian Hall, Bishop Museum, followed by questions and answers.
Committee Reports:
- David Andrew
proposed reducing the number of Board members from 21 to 18, which
would require a change in the By-laws. President Hagloch made the
motion; it was seconded by John Michalski, and unanimously approved
by the membership.
Other Business:
- President Hagloch introduced all Board members to the membership and thanked them for their hard work. She thanked everyone who made the Annual Dinner possible, including Frank and Sandi Kingery, Fay Jones, Donna Ashley, Helen MacNeil, Lisa Chang and Cookie Ayabe.
President C. Hagloch
adjourned the meeting at 8:50pm.
